Due to the ongoing global impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the likelihood that international borders will remain closed for an extended period, Machu Travel Peru has suspended all tours until September 30, 2020.
This global health crisis has greatly impacted everyone, so we want to make sure that your future travel plans are safe and assure you that we are committed to supporting our clients in the best possible way.
If you booked a tour that was suspended due to the pandemic, you will automatically receive a credit of 100% of the money paid (from your deposit or full payment). This excludes additional flights or insurance, as they will have their booking conditions. There are two options to redeem your credit:
- • You can rebook a tour now for a future travel date before November 30, 2022.
- • You can keep your travel credit until you are ready to re-book on a future tour that departs before November 30, 2022.
If you book a tour that starts on or after September 30, 2020, there are currently no changes to your trip, and you are currently scheduled to depart as planned. We are closely monitoring the situation and will notify you directly (through our customer service team or your travel agent) if your tour is suspended.
- • If you want to cancel your reservation, you can receive a paid money credit (excluding flights or insurance, as they will have their reservation conditions) to use on a new tour with a departure date before November 30, 2022.
- • For all future reservations, the total payment must be made 60 days before the departure date of your tour. Please note that different payment terms apply for cruise travel.
