The Best Agency for Our 39-Day South American Adventure from 7 December 2025 to 14 January 2026
We recently completed a 39-day tour across Chile, Peru, and Bolivia using three different agencies, and Machu Travel Peru was hands down the best. Our itinerary was packed, the meals were very good, and we maximized every moment thanks to their excellent coordination.
The Planning:
• Maribel: She worked tirelessly via Google Meet and WhatsApp to create a customized family tour. Her planning was flawless.
The Lima & Coast Team:
• Nadia (Guide): She is the best! Her passion for the Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacamac was inspiring. She went above and beyond, staying for an hour to help us check in our luggage and ensuring we got to the departure hall before she went home.
• Amy (Guide): Fantastic expertise in Peruvian food culture, city life, and history.
• Ibrahim (Driver): Very professional. He patiently tried very hard to find us a clean restroom in the middle of the night during the drive from Huacachina to Lima.
• Eder (Driver): He handled a massive 2.5-hour traffic jam to the Lima airport with incredible patience.
The Cusco & Machu Picchu Team:
• Kevin (Guide): Excellent with city information. Special thanks to him for helping me hike up to see my most desirable sight, Machu Picchu.
• Ju (Guide): Incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He truly inspired me to appreciate Inca culture and history, and his patience was highly commendable.
• Noel (Driver): The best driver! He had a superb attitude and graciously shared his WiFi with us in the car.
