The hotel Atix is the first designed 5-star hotel in La Paz. Its style marks a new direction of luxury and detail in accommodations in Bolivia. Comanche stone and indigenous wood from the Andean country make its beautiful facade. Also, the infrastructure is relatively new because Atix was inaugurated in September 2016, and is located in a high-class neighborhood in La Paz. It is called Zona Sur (South Zone). The hotel has 53 well-decorated rooms with 25 square meters each. All of them are distributed in six stories with decorative elements created by the renowned Bolivian artist Gaston Ugalde. These are Photographies, complete installations, videos, and sculptures that represent the Bolivian topography like Lipez Desert, Mountains, Lake Titicaca, Salar, Amazonia, and the Valley of the Spirits, among others. Ona, its restaurant, is a recognition of Bolivian traditions with its innovative menu a-la-carte made of local ingredients, of season, fresh and natural. Even more, on the superior floor the guest will be able to enjoy a terrace with a jacuzzi, a large pool, spectacular views of La Paz, and the recognized bar +591, with exclusive cocktail selections inspired by the aromas, colors, and Bolivian regions. Of course, these were created by the mixologist David Romero, who comes from the best worldwide restaurant, Central, according to the prestigious British “The 50 best”, to provide sophistication and elegance.
Also, on the septime floor, the guest will find massage rooms, a sauna, a steam bath, a gym, and an urban spa.
