Machu Travel Peru is convinced that tourism can and must be a road toward Peru’s development. We will continue to act as good Peruvians and strive to improve our country’s welfare, with a particular focus on its most vulnerable citizens.
THROUGH MACHU TRAVEL PERU, WE RENEW OUR COMMITMENT TO PERU AND ITS FUTURE. We actively participate in developing small Andean communities, where culture, education, and equal development opportunities will be accessible to all. Our goal is to promote access to culture, education, and equal opportunity and foster inclusive and self-sustainable development projects in communities where tourism-related opportunities exist.
A Dream Come True:
The Machu Travel Foundation was born for young local promises and their communities.
In this line, the Machu Travel Foundation is a non-profit organization created in 2015 in Cusco, Peru, as part of the social commitment of the company Machu Travel Peru. The Foundation promotes sports, education, culture, and environmental preservation through the implementation of social projects and comprehensive support to low-income communities in the tourist areas of Cusco and its surroundings.
The direct support consists of financial aid, provision of materials, classes, and training for young talents. Likewise, it grants and provides subsidies for enrollment in championships, competitions, and others for sports and academic purposes.
On the other hand, the foundation leads actions in favor of culture and environmental protection through its digital platforms and travel services.

Sustainability
It is not enough to provide economic resources, but also to accompany the development process in other ways, such as promoting championships, contests, fundraising, and tourism initiatives that allow us to finance our projects sustainably over time.
Solidarity
Solidarity and empathy with local low-income youth and their communities. We provide help to develop sports, artistic, and academic skills, among others. We also promote that young people can achieve their dreams and goals.
Respect
We respect and value the cultural richness of Cusco and Peru, promoting its preservation through education and art. Likewise, we advocate for understanding the different ways and customs of life that people have in the Andes.

At Machu Travel Peru, we drive social impact through four key lines of action: sport promotion, academic and artistic education, cultural and environmental preservation, and the execution of integral social projects. Each initiative is designed to empower communities and create lasting, meaningful change.
We promote the practice of sports as a tool for the physical, emotional, and social development of people, encouraging healthy lifestyles and the formation of values such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.
We support the strengthening of education in all its dimensions, both in the academic and artistic fields, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and the integral development of children, young people, and adults.
We value and protect the cultural and natural heritage, promoting local identity and environmental awareness as key elements for sustainable development and respect for future generations.
We design and execute social projects aimed at improving the quality of life of vulnerable communities, addressing their needs in a comprehensive and sustainable manner through initiatives that promote inclusion, equity, and community empowerment.

Romina Cáceres
Romina is a 12-year-old passionate cyclist who began riding at age 6, inspired by her parents. She feels freedom and connection with nature every time she rides. Over the years, she has competed in many races, winning several. In the past four years, she’s regularly raced against male cyclists, always striving to prove her potential. Cycling has made her disciplined, determined, and persistent, to become a national champion.
Elias Cáceres
Elias is an experienced cyclist who once dreamed of owning a bike as a child. His passion grew when he started riding and competing. He loves riding trails surrounded by nature and freedom. Over the years, he has become one of Peru’s top cyclists, competing nationally and internationally. Elias believes limits don’t exist and that winning is always possible. He lives by the motto that life is best on two wheels and is dedicated to inspiring future generations.
Aron Duque
Aron Duque, from Cusco, grew up inspired by the mountains and found his passion in downhill cycling. He learned early that effort and determination lead to success. Aron won national junior titles in 2018 and 2019 and represented Peru at the Pan American Games, earning a South American runner-up finish. Beyond cycling, he strives to showcase Peru on the world stage, proving that passion and hard work turn dreams into achievements.
Agustin Forcade
Agustin Forcade Cluzet is a passionate cyclist who found his passion in the mountains of Latin America, especially Cusco. He has competed nationally and internationally, earning podium finishes. Beyond racing, Agustin advocates for sport as a tool for personal growth and transformation. He is dedicated to promoting cycling to inspire others and create opportunities for young talent, aiming to empower future generations through sport’s unifying power.
Anghelo Huamani
Anghelo Huamani, a 14-year-old from Cusco, Peru, began his sports journey in soccer. His path changed when a bike shop owner saw his potential and encouraged him to try competitive cycling. Since then, Anghelo has trained professionally, achieving several local victories. His dream is to compete internationally and reach the podium. Anghelo’s story shows how talent, combined with opportunity and support, can transform lives and open doors to a promising future.
Lenin Rupa
Lenin Rupa, a 14-year-old Peruvian athlete, has stood out early for his passion and discipline. Despite his age, he has achieved impressive results in various competitions, gaining recognition locally and nationally. Lenin’s adaptability and determination helped him overcome challenges with a strong competitive spirit. Considered one of Peru’s brightest sports prospects, he continues to grow by learning from every experience, showing great potential for the future.
