My mom and I feel very fortunate to have chosen Machu Travel Peru for our travel agency in our trip to Peru, because their operation was flawless.
My mom and I were impressed with the selection of hotels and restaurants Lizbeth had prepared. Once we were in Peru, Sol kept in touch with us everyday to remind us of the daily itinerary and to check up on us. She even came to meet us twice - once when we landed in Cusco and the second time when we were leaving Cusco to go to Puno. All the drivers - including Henry and Juan - were punctual, courteous, and friendly. All the guides - Eddie, Will, Noe, Perci, and Jim - were knowledgeable, helpful and had good working relationships with the locals.
The tour bus company and the guide who accompanied us on the ride from Cusco to Puno was also great.

Even though I had travelled abroad many times in the past, I had honestly been nervous about the trip to Peru, as it was going to be my first time traveling to South America, and I was bringing my mom with me, and I had some concerns about safety and possible infrastructural issues. It turns out I did not need to worry at all, as Machu Travel Peru made the trip so smooth. I also felt that - given the selection of hotels and meticulous attention to details - the cost of hiring this travel company was worth every penny. I would highly recommend Machu Travel Peru to anyone considering traveling to Peru.
