Machu Travel Peru helped my husband and I plan our first trip to Peru to visit the Nazca Lines, Cusco and the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and the Amazon!! I first worked with Lizbeth to plan everything and she was so helpful and enthusiastic and was able to create a custom quote based on our dates, budget, and what we wanted to do. The accommodations and transportations and tours they booked for us were all incredible. Once in Cusco, we worked in person with Sol who was so sweet and you could tell how passionate she is about her work! She even helped us schedule our covid test in Puerto Maldonado for our flight home. Our guide for Machu Picchu, Joel, was by far one of the best tour guides we’ve ever worked with through all our travels. He was so knowledgeable, gave us great insight to the mysteries of the ruins, and was so fun, personable, and patient. He was more like a spiritual guide! We LOVED him!! Finally, our trip into the Amazon was the highlight of the trip, which is saying a lot because Machu Picchu exceeded all of our expectations. The staff at EcoAmazonia Lodge, especially our guide Victor and our new favorite bartender Raul, made it absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough great things about this lodge and highly recommend everyone to request to go there on their Peruvian adventure!
