We were also able to visit local markets, meet locals and learn about their lives in today’s Peru.
The towering Andes mountains and lush valley floor are breathtaking. No wonder the Inca picked this place to build their most impressive Temples, Palaces and Fortresses. The Inca architecture is incredibly complex and high quality. A masterpiece of 15th Century engineering.
Our driver Paulino is a Pro! Positive and friendly, he safely traversed the mountain roads and ensured we traveled well in a comfortable clean van. Almost all our transfers were escorted and when not, a smiling Machu Travel team member was there to meet our plane or train.
The food in Peru is amazing! It’s fresh, natural and usually sourced from local farm families that live in Sacred Valley.
