Packing for Peru
The majority of people assume that South America and especially Peru has hot weather, being close to Ecuador. However, our country is crossed by the Andes, and due to the altitude of these mountains, the weather is changed to someone more cold, even gelid. Thus, Peru presents a great variety of climates, and being adequately prepared is very important.
The transportation has limited space for luggage, usually, they accept only one main luggage per person.
Therefore, we recommend using a backpack or a medium-sized suitcase for your convenience. In addition, you can carry a daypack to carry only the essentials in your full-day journeys.
